This is premium, supplement grade Turmeric, not to be confused with food grade Haldi which is much lighter in colour. Turmeric is now widely acknowledged to have important benefits for combating inflammation, the cause of many ailments. The addition of black pepper considerably accelerates the absorption of curcurmin (the active compound in turmeric) by up to 2000%. Further research can be enlightening!

Directions: Shake or blend a small teaspoon into your favourite juice or smoothie, or make into a hot beverage using a teaspoon, adding lemon and honey to taste.
