The Guarana Company promotes good health and vitality products as well as juicing machines and lifestyle products. The Guarana Bar is the first flagship retail store which opened in Brighton in 1999. Before this the Guarana Co was based in London and concentrated on selling Guarana and legal herbal highs at festivals and nightclubs.
I think Brighton was the right city to open a retail store because it had a health conscious, open-minded, travel-wise community which endeared me to it.
Being of Anglo-Brazilian origin I have always had an affinity for Brazil and at the age of 29 I decided to trade with Guarana and get involved with the indigenous people of the Amazon. I started creating greater demand for Guarana based products and therefore started giving back to those who work with this incredible plant. Now we have, I can say with hand on heart the best premium grade organic Guarana that can be found anywhere in the world.
I am traveling to Rio for a week as of today for a short break and a familty trip with my elderly mother and will continue the blog on my return. In the meantime I welcome you again to our new look website.
